Markbass Strings are made at our factory in Abruzzo (Italy), using carefully selected, innovative materials combined with the most sophisticated quality controls available, and crafted in accordance with the ancient traditions of the master string makers of Abruzzo, a region of Italy that gave birth to the craft of string making for musical instruments some centuries ago. The art of string making was born in this beautiful part of the world and many of today's great string brands can trace their origins to Abruzzo. Theirs is a history made by skilled hands, hard work, sacrifices and a great deal of genius: typical features of the people from Abruzzo.
