Who are Faith Guitars?

Founded in 2002, Faith Guitars are the passion of a small team of seasoned guitar experts based in Shropshire, England and led by world-renowned British luthier, Patrick James Eggle.

Patrick says:"My approach to building guitars could easily be described as obsessive. My life has been driven by guitars of all types since I was a young boy, and having built my first instrument at the age of 15, I have been refining the design ever since."

"Much like a sculptor or material artist, I start with a clear picture of the end result. Then I choose the appropriate tonewoods, bracing pattern and touch-point

materials, and can set about the process of shaping these raw materials into both a playable and desirable instrument."

"Whether it’s one of my own UK-built PJE guitars or one of my Faith designs, my goal is the same: the creation of an instrument that is both highly desirable and highly functional. A piece that would be as visually effective when silent as it would be sonically when in the hands of a skilled musician."

Faith Award Winning Acoustic Guitars

If you're looking for a new guitar with genuine credentials, Faith has an enviable award winning pedigree.

"But what are these awards?", you may ask...

Well, several of our Faith Acoustics models have been awarded 'The UK's Best Acoustic Guitar' Award at the MIA Music Awards from 2012 to 2016. These awards are held annually in London by the Music Industries Association - the trade body that represents musical instrument manufacturers and resellers in the United Kingdom. It's affiliated with the other two largest international Musical Instrument industry bodies: NAMM and Musikmesse.

You can therefore take these awards as the ultimate 'owner reviews', as from 2012 to 2015, the awards were voted for by the guitar-playing public. In 2016, when the voting changed to 'industry panel only', the Venus BloodMoon model made quite an impression, securing the award that year too.

Enjoy choosing your personal award-winner.

Winner of the UK's Best Acoustic Guitar 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016
